The Challenge

Leading the technical vision and strategy of engineering teams together with other Tech Leads to help teams keep up with new technologies and challenges.

Design a career development strategy to build engineering teams that could handle volatility and changes of different projects, as well to increase tenure within the tech silos.

Facilitating cross discipline projects to enhance collaboration and help engineers to develop new skills needed for future projects and company tech goals.

Mentoring interns and junior engineers to smooth the on boarding process on new teams and projects, and help them get used to the tech stack and way of working across different teams.

Delivering with deadlines

By monitoring the Tech Radar together with other Technical Leads, we managed to create a set of standardize technology stack and tools that allow teams to be consistent, allow switching team mates in different contexts and projects, and help us get better at estimating delivery time by choosing the right technology and teams for different partners.

Delivering successfully help us to grow partnerships and earn trust of new clients like NS OV fiets, Greenwheels, Stadsbank van Lening, NOCNSF, FCTRE and others.

Role

Work with other Tech Leads, designers, engineers, account managers, testers to help manage teams, projects, tech stack and from time to time work as well as Senior Engineer within teams, to help with planning, architecture and delivery on tight deadlines.
